I heard workmen banging next door in the top flat where that neighbour use to live. I'm pretty sure about this although it was strange to hear at first and can't believe they're working on it already! 
And the flat below there were students playing their damn music again! 
I also know this as it was Dance music whereas my old neighbour was more into Rock music!

Pro I think you should consider re-posting this blog. As a fully unqualified talk therapist I'd like to point out that a) the title of it [i.e. 'Noises from Next Door'] and b) the first sentence [i.e. I heard workmen banging... (etc.)] could easily be 'misconstrued' to have some rather deep and worrying Freudian not to say Jungian implications.

And poor me..and my Elvis even got "Othitis=otite" in both ears plus fever 
...i'm having builders on a flat under mine taking OFF ALL the floor..from the entire apartment! You can imagine the noise! Sometimes i run away from home, others i put loud music..hard rock so i don't hear them but hey it's really annoying! And i'm on the top floor, no neighbors around, only bellow making this..i thought they were breaking walls!!

We only moved here not long ago, over a year when I was pregnant! I like it here apart from certain neighbours as you know but maybe we'll move again in the future!
We live out in the country so it is most quiet all the time, but then our neighbors will play their music..it isen't that loud, but loud enough to get on your nerves when outside.
