A BBC's Life

I could bore you by writing everything we got over Christmas but this year is better as BB got older boys toys. The best thing was a electric bike from one grandma (MP's mum) and a pedal bike from his other grand parents! (my side). It was the best Christmas so far!

Tomorrow night having some drinks and doing karaoke in the privacy of MP's sisters house with all their SingStar games! It's been a while since I have sang in front of anyone!

I don't want things to get back to normal next week! Although it's a bit boring and quiet lately now Christmas is over! Everyone I know is not looking forward to going back to work! And I don't think I'll make a new year's resolution seeing as I never stick to it!

Still doing the last of my Christmas shopping today and unsurprisingly it was packed in the city centre! I'm just glad I did most of it earlier but didn't finish it! And there wasn't a lot I could find for anyone! Still, I was still a good citizen and let everyone walk in front of me first and no-one got bashed by my buggy but I got bashed in the legs instead! (No bruises of course!) They were playing awful Christmas tunes in the shopping centre and some shoppers were even singing along to it! I couldn't get out any faster!

Still in panic mode about shopping and tidying up. I've been dashing around just now washing up and tidying a little, as MP has taken BB's to his mam's but somehow I got drawn to the the PC!

He he. Home alone for now!

I am just reading The Hoosiers MySpace page http://www.myspace.com/thehoosiers as a lot of the events say 'fancy dress'. Does that mean I have to turn up in something different?!!

Just been purchasing tickets for The Hoosiers gig on www.ticketmaster.com as I really wanted to go but they were not on sale last week! So I am surprised but glad they were available now and not as much as I imagined. *Does a happy dance*

All I got to do is tell MP he's coming but I'm sure I could find someone else if he couldn't! (Well it's not his type of music and I only like some hip-hop) And I also got to tell his mum to baby sit for us on that evening!

I just noticed the message setting on BCUK (near your friend's birthday bit on your own main page!) I'm sure it wasn't there earlier when I popped on!

It seems a cool feature except I wouldn't know what to say to anyone right now!

Santa was at play group earlier this morning to hand out presents to all the kids and BB was good when Santa spoke to him. (As he normally cries when strangers want to talk to him!)

But Santa was clean shaven and still had grey hair!!! (not white as I imagined!)

Still all the kids liked him!

Yep, more of me talking about Reality TV but this has got to be one of the better ones!

I am sad to hear the series has ended and it was very entertaining watching last night's episode! What I really like to know is whatever happened to Rachel (not sure of her surname!) and also Richard Farley!? And will James or one of the other Dragon's get replaced next year!? I liked James but he's a little on the soft side! I guess that's what happens when you have two daughters! :p

My parents are visiting us on Christmas Day and still got the whole house to clean and presents to buy. I know I done most of it two weeks ago which is less to worry about on my mind luckily but still need to finish it off.

Looks like I'm free this weekend. Joy that will be doing it a few days before Christmas!

And I see myself cleaning like mad on Christmas Eve which is next Monday!

I am very good at procrastinating!

I can't believe Leon won on Saturday night's 'X-Factor'. He was okay but not really special. This is cliche but Rhydian should of won!

In other shows, I like Alesha to win in 'Strictly Come Dancing'!

Minus the food! We still went out drinking though and of course I was still going to do just that!

I wasn't sure to wear though high boots with a skirt or tights with high heeled shoes and a skirt but chose the boots as they warmed me up better!

Me and MP were in the first bar in town by 6.30pm before his boss arrived. Had a little conversation before being joined by P, a middle-aged client of theirs who was very chatty and entertaining. A few minutes later J and J2 joined us who work with MP. Later I found out they were actually younger (in their teens!) than me when I thought they were older! (Damn I feel older! ) I was quite nervous seeing as I didn't know half the people present and they were all guys! I imagined they would be at least another girl I could talk to but when more people from another company turned up it was still all men!

Still, I chatted to a couple of peeps and J2 was even shyer than me so I tried speaking to him but all he gave me was one word answers!!! Nevertheless, it was pretty good night and everyone was friendly.

But I had to walk home post 2am in the cold from the club as we couldn't get a taxi a couple of miles from home!

I nearly finished my turn on Animal Crossing for today and it froze. The first time ever so that means that stupid Mole is going to give me a headache!

In other news, the Christmas dinner should be tomorrow so a mini break. Maybe coming home again late apres (Or 'after' in French!) 5am like last year! :p Yeahhh, dinner and drinks afterwards!

Maybe not seeing as it'll be me going to my mother-in-law's house to collect BB post 8am!

And what to wear in such blasted cold weather! Meh!

I stayed up late so I could watch 'Sex in the Noughties: The Sex Blog Girls' which was shown on Channel 4 last night at 10pm. I found it rather interesting and hearing all the stories from various women mainly in the UK and USA. It spoke of the lives of 'Girl with a One-Track Mind', to 'The Washingtonienne'.

There were very good points made, particularly about how the Press wanted to know the identity of 'Belle De Jour' and were contacting members of that blog site she used but the community there is 'tight' and they were basically telling the Press to 'Go screw themselves!'

I hope this site is the same! Well, I like to think so!

I've stopped eating now anyway, before I get sick! I couldn't eat it all anyway!

We've finally put our tree up which is decorated in silver and gold and has plain lights on. But the house is still a bloody mess and we'll have to tidy it up before my parents come in two weeks time!

Oh joy to cleaning - not!

All of yesterday evening and today, so I'm consuming whatever is in the cupboards and match my weight!

MP has gone to his friend's house and there will be six guys all playing on the Playstation 3, drinking and watching a big boxing match which won't start until late apparently! (Me = )

So I have to look after our unwell child. Yes, he seems to have got another illness and keeps coughing which is waking him up! I'll go to bed in a bit but I'm not sleepy!

I declared to MP yesterday evening 'I wanted another baby!!!' (I was deadly serious)

His reply was 'he was happy with the one we already have!'

I responded 'Yes, but I want another one!'

He'll probably won't go near me again!

Am envious of the pregnant women around me and MP's younger brother's who only twenty-three and has just had his second daughter!

I can't wait to see her as apparently she looks like her bigger sister who's two now!

I nearly done all my Christmas shopping today. MP has four brothers and a sister and I still got to get two of the brothers thing plus MP and my family! But I did enjoy getting the kids stuff. And got BB a dinner set, vests and a slinky for now as he needs them. He's got Duplo, musical instruments and some books for Christmas! I am proud of myself I only have three people to get presents for!

I find men are so hard to buy things for! :p

So that leaves decorating the house in Christmas stuff!!! Meh! I have this feeling my little one will pull all the shiny decorations down from the tree. Maybe I'll get a gate to go around it!

I was out and walking past a middle aged man who was balding but still had his dark hair and was also sporting a mustache. He looks me in the eye and says, 'Do you fancy some love?'

Me: No, Thank you!

I must note at this point that he was the owner of a sweet stall but he could have a better line to catch the customers attention as anyone could interpret that the wrong way, like I did!

Seeing as I have nothing to do today, I deleted a few people who haven't been on for some time.

But one person I cannot delete and I got this message:

I am very much looking forward to accompany my other half at his work dinner later this month which we go to every year! He has four new workmates who are around my age or younger! And before anyone says anything, I am excited to meet them as I heard a couple of hilarious stories about them which makes me eager to see what they are like in real-life, and not because I'm into younger men! And they're probably bringing their girlfriends so I shouldn't be the youngest one there like I usually am!

We all usually have a nice three course meal at such-and-such venue. We had it in Jazz Bar three years ago but it was a tiny bit crammed! Last year it was my first night out in three months being a new mum and all and I cannot remember going home after 5am! And oh it's always nice to have plenty to drink, compliments to the company's bar tab!

Saying that, I can't drink as much as I use to before I was with child. It use to take me a lot to get drunk but now it's only a few! Better drink the wine slowly then...
