Red Nose Day

It does not matter what I do, I cannot get rid of this cold. This is the second day and thought it would be gone by now like it usually does!

I have taken some Lemsip tablets yesterday and that did not work followed by a honey and lemon drink.

Did not sleep well and woke up in the night for a little while feeling groggy.

Today, I have had a Lemsip drink which usually works when I have a cold and it hasn't. Still sniffing and bloody nose still running. Also had another honey and lemon drink earlier.

This is so fecking annoying. I just wanted to vent this out. That is all!

Poor Chyna...and lucky you if your colds go in a day HLOL...wish mine did...or bugs anyway...don't really get colds...take care and hope you'll feel better soon...better to get it over with before you come down to London...LOL...big hugs..XXX

It calls for honey, the sweetest of healers, and thyme, a wonderful herb with antibacterial properties that had been used by Wise Ones for centuries to alleviate the miseries of colds and flus. Easy to make and delicious to use:

INGREDIENTS

1 cup honey
1/2 cup fresh thyme or 1/4 cup dried thyme

1. In a small saucepan, combine the two ingredients and heat gently over low heat for 15 to 20 minutes, being sure not to let the honey boil or scorch.

2. Remove from heat and allow the honey to cool. Strain out the herbs, then bottle the honey and label it.

3. To relieve colds, coughs, and sore throats, take 1 teaspoon of this thyme-infused honey three times a day. You could also add a teaspoon of it to a cup of regular hot tea and sip slowly.

    Honey is a super food and is the only one that does not go off..they tried some from a burial tomb..it was perfect
