  • I has the bored

    Picture Of You

    ;)

  • Phallic Envy!?

You Are in the Phallic Stage of Development

According to Dr. Freud, you are stuck in the phallic stage of development.

As a child, you may have been competing for attention with a same sex parent.

Now as an adult, you may be sexually confused and / or sexually promiscuous.

You may instead be overly puritanical and repulsed by sex.

  • Lost Friend

I am pretty sure I had 86 friends at lunchtime and now I am just quickly coming on now and am a friend down! :|

Who gone and left me now!?

*Goes and gets her deer stalker hat and magnifying glass*

I'll find out who it was! Give me a day or two! :))

Unless someone else finds out before me! :p

  • The Amityville Horror (2005)

I was just tidying the house gone 11pm last night and was on my own in the living room and just tuned in where there's a dark figure of a girl zooming across the kitchen floor and the fridge magnets spelt out the words "Kill 'em, Katch 'em!" I thought this remake was so-so. Some parts made me jump rather than scare me but the whole film was ruined when my partner started shouting "Here's Johnny!" several times near the end when Ryan Reynold's character was chasing his family with the axe!

Will have to watch the original again sometime to compare notes! :)) I remember the scene with the priest in a room alone and the original one was a lot better and more convincing but for some reason, I can't remember much else of the original! :**:

    9. (a) 7 (b) 6 (c) 4 (d) 2 (e) 1
    10. (a) 4 (b) 2 (c) 3 (d) 5 (e) 6 (f) 1

Now add up the total number of points.

    OVER 60 POINTS :
Others see you as someone they should "handle with care." You're seen
as vain, self-centered, and who is extremely dominant. Others may
admire you, wishing they could be more like you, but don't always trust
you, hesitating to become too deeply involved with you.

    51 TO 60 POINTS :
Others see you as an exciting, highly volatile, rather impulsive
personality; a natural leader, who's quick to make decisions, though
not always the right ones. They see you as bold and adventuresome,
someone who will try anything once; someone who takes chances and
enjoys an adventure. They enjoy being in your company because of the
    excitement you radiate.

    41 TO 50 POINTS :
Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical, and
always interesting; someone who's constantly in the center of
attention, but sufficiently well-balanced not to let it go to their
    head. They also see you as kind, considerate, and understanding;
someone who'll always cheer them up and help them out.

    31 TO 40 POINTS :
Others see you as sensible, cautious, careful & practical. They
see you as clever, gifted, or talented, but modest. Not a person who
makes friends too quickly or easily, but someone who's extremely loyal
to friends you do make and who expect the same loyalty in return.
Those who really get to know you realize it takes a lot to shake your
trust in your friends, but equally that it takes you a long time to get
over if that trust is ever broken. (True!!!)

    21 TO 30 POINTS:
Your friends see you as painstaking and fussy. They see you as very
cautious, extremely careful, a slow and steady plodder. It would
really surprise them if you ever did something impulsively or on the
spur of the moment, expecting you to examine everything carefully from
every an gle and the n, usually decide against it. They think this
reaction is caused partly by your careful nature.

    UNDER 21 POINTS :
People think you are shy, nervous, and indecisive, someone who needs
looking after, who always wants someone else to make the decisions
& who doesn't want to get involved with anyone or anything! They
see you as a worrier who always sees problems that don't exist. Some
peopl e think you' re boring. Only those who know you well know that
    you aren't.

    How much you got yours?

  • Feels like a Monday

It has been a lovely weekend weather-wise, sunny but blustery but that did not bother me. Was wearing a sleeveless tops and cropped trousers but now it's rainy here and have to go out shortly! Now wearing a long sleeved top and jeans and annoyed by the weather but guess it's been a while since we have seen some rain in these parts!

  • More rambles

So the Tigers are through to the premiership and joining the big boys such as Arsenal and Manchester United! Funny how they were in the bottom division four years ago and now on top! So K (a friend) blurted out!

Funnily enough he also supports Man U as well as A (one of my other half's younger brothers) so makes me wonder who they will support when they play each other!

    Glory supports! Pfft!

We was watching the game at my other half's sisters home and guess who had to look two boys about one and a half years old while everyone else was watching footie?! Actually I enjoyed it a lot and afterwards felt good inside, I really not sure how to describe it. It's one thing to amuse your own kid, it's another thing to keep someone else's kid happy! But no more kids, still! ;)

And another thing, the city centre will be packed tomorrow when they do the celebration-bus-thing-whatever! So much for shopping or a day out! And yes my other half wants to see it!

  • So the rambling continues..

Can't get the original video as 'embedding is not allowed' so this will do. (Although I do prefer the original!) Excuse the swearing at the start! ;)

Now I am on my own for now, I was just thinking and remembered when I brought a Queens of the Stone Age album that accompanies this song, I was single and it just freaked me out there was a time when I was, pre-seventeen! 8| I have been with this man who I call my other half for four years which is a long time to me and the longest relationship I have been in! I might as well be married to him but no rush yet! ;)

  • Prejudice & Football

I had to put up with my other half watching the 'football' yesterday which was running overtime so 'Belle Du Jour' was on later! :| Frankly, I was quite bored of it but what did get my attention was a sign on one side (can't remember who's it was!) saying 'Scouse Free Zone!' How bloody annoying! That got my blood boiled! >:(

Right, enough on footie. I'll try and find something else to say!

  • Star Spotting!

My other half was in a particular part of Chelsea yesterday having a business meeting. There he spied a pretty well known young lady famous for her assets. It was indeed, Melinda Messenger. I kept asking questions such as 'Did you speak to her' and 'You should have got her autograph'. But no, he replied he felt weird approaching her. Perhaps she was on business in that place too! (Meh! I wouldn't of been scared to talk to her! I have only heard good things of her although I know she has split from her hubby for whatever reason, I forget!) But all he said about her was she was tiny which I knew from press photos!

My other half also spotted a athelete famous for sprinting although he could not remember who he was, despite watching every sport on TV that I can think of!

  • Desperate Lady!

Agghhh! NOOOOOO! Not her again!

(Why did I have to be so curious and find out what her new song was like!)

  • WOOHOO - Meet!

Met the lovely Meno as well as Louisa, MJohnson, Faffajane (and hubby), Row, TimeKillingKid, Old Nick, Shipscook, Mrs F, Jacobite, Jen (and her hubby) NotBob, RubyChoo and Eggbod! :>>

Was an excellent time and don't think I made a fool of myself. Pity did not get to talk to everyone but maybe another time! Took many photos when people least expected it but wish I had a Pro account to share them! Everyone was really nice and hope everyone there had a good time that went! Am worried now about any embarassing photos of myself on other blogs now! ;)

Am hyped up for another meet! :D

  • Child of our Time

I was watching the first part of this programme yesterday evening and could not believe that these seven/eight year old girls are quite bothered about their weight! I mean, they are still young and shouldn't need to! To me, the girls looked average although some looked quite slim. But when doing a experiment, they associated 'fat' girls as being unintelligent and nasty, according to one girl!

When I was growing up in my youth, I never worried about my weight and my parents always encouraged us to eat plenty and I was about average size. But then of course I did worry after I was about 14 when puberty kicked in and I saw some boys as not just friends anymore! 8|

Funny how times have changed and it is all thanks to the media who are influencing the young girls, associating stick thin means you are gorgeous, clever and more likey to attract the opposite of sex!

And also, in the same experiment, boys were not bothered about their weight and that they are less likey to achieve academically which I also think is quite untrue! Most of the men I know are pretty clever like my father, other half and brother. Hopefully my son will be too!

  • Cool Pix

My Uncle K from Hong Kong got me a little cute and sweet camera called a Nikon Coolpix. Which my Dad gave me when he came here last weekend! It's pretty basic but that's all I wanted. I don't want to be fiddling with too many features and am only doing basic photography. My OH has a big Nikon camera and my brother has a newish Canon model. (Don't ask me what type, I can't remember but will try to find out later! And what is it with men and big cameras!)

Was trying to upload some pics here the other night but need to learn how to reduce the size so they don't take so much room up on here! Maybe I will get a Pro account later sometime so I can!

  • Hungover Mutterings

Yesterday was pretty busy. Went to the city centre early in the morning and got a LazyTown DVD and Wii Fit in Zavvi as luckily it was in stock! Didn't realise how big the box was! 8| My other half got a shirt from River island to go out in for the night. He is worse than me when it comes to clothes shopping!

Got home and played on the Wii Fit for nearly two and a half hours! Apparently I was the ideal weight and my other half was a bit over weight! But we both lost a little weight doing all the games. I was knackered doing two minutes of jogging! And I cannot do the yoga 'tree' pose! My other half had to hold me by the waist! :)) He tells me I need to increase my BMI and turn my body fat into muscles!

Then we had to get ready to go out and started drinking around 6.30pm which is early for me. Met my other half's mate in the first pub along with his girlfriend and friends. But we didn't meet the people from the school until later at another pub. Was weird for me as I hardly knew anyone and was a bit younger than them but did mingle a bit. My other half spoke to a few people, mainly the guys though. Went home after 11pm and crashed on the bed as soon as I got home!

My boy is with Grandma going to church service this morning where she'll be singing which he likes and joins in. :p We're suppose to be tidying/cleaning up now but I have been recovering from my hangover and felt dizzy and tired in the shower but soon perked up after breakfast and coffee. It's strange, I have not had a hangover for some time now! Oh, and I should get off here...

  • His School Reunion

Just when I thought we had a free weekend my other half rings me at lunchtime to tell me now wants to go out tomorrow evening for his ten year school reunion! 8|

He did tell me the other day that his friend (from school) texted him about this and thought he may not of wanted to go as he was unsure.

I often think these things are for people to gloat how well you're doing now but my other half isn't like that.

Am nervous but excited. Nervous because I won't know anyone there really as I'm not originally from here and not met any of his school chums but excited as it involves alcohol! JC_burp

(And yes I stole this emoticon from NotBob! So there! :P)

  • Ugh - Cleaning!

My Dad phoned up last weekend to say he along with Mum and Brother are coming this Sunday afternoon. I was in panic mode for a few moments when he said that as it only gave me a week to do everything. Of course, being the natural procrastinator that I am, I have put it off and realised only a few more days to go! There's no point cleaning too much as it would only get dirty by the time they come! :DD

I really need to clean the house. Just looking at our white bathroom which is a bit cluttered and I hate to imagine all the germies crawling around the toilet and dusty shelf! XX(

And our son's room is packed with boxes from my other's half moving stuff about. We got to find some room somewhere for these boxes but there is room lacking in the loft. Whenever we tidy up, there is the tendancy moving boxes from one room to another! I know I need to sort out stuff I need and stuff I don't need! Takes so long! :**:

Thinking about all this tidying is giving me a headache! Meh!
